In a few days I will be celebrating my 74th birthday. As I pause and look back over my life one thing stands out above all else—the faithfulness of God. The Lord would have been well justified had He given up on me any number of times during the last fifty years, especially during the early years, but He refused. Even though my faith failed on occasion, He always remained faithful for He cannot deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:13). I’m no one special, yet the Lord has blessed Brenda and me in remarkable ways. And what God has done us He will do for you.

Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your faithfulness even when our faith fails. Fulfill Your purpose in our lives. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
