At least for one day each year, the world pauses in its mad busyness and our hearts turn toward home. Dim memories of our childhood faith tug at our hearts and we realize anew that we are truly spiritual beings, men and women made in the image of God. Within our hearts, hope burns eternal and on Christmas day all things are possible. Sins can be forgiven, broken relationships can be restored, and hurts can be healed. Best of all we realize that God is with us.

Lord Jesus, may we always remember that You are the one who put Christmas in our hearts and called us unto Yourself. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
