Maybe you’re facing a financial challenge right now. Instead of focusing on what you need, let me encourage you to remember how God has provided for you in the past. Prayers that focus primarily on our needs seldom build up our faith, while prayers which focus on God’s character and faithfulness strengthen us. Even if our circumstances don’t immediately change, we are still encouraged as we remember how God has taken care of us in the past.
