More than anything, God wants a relationship with you. That’s why He sent His only begotten Son into the world. Not to condemn the world but that through Him the world might be saved. Unfortunately many of us have created a religion of rules but you can never know God by keeping the rules. The way to know God is relationally, the way a child knows his parents. So let God love you.
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!”

Father God, teach us to relate to You as a trusting child relates to his loving father. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
