Although the coronavirus is unlike anything we have faced in our lifetime we shouldn’t be surprised. We live on a fallen planet and these kind of things happen. That’s what Jesus said. Read it for yourself, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”—John 16:33. God is greater than any storm we will ever face, and He will make a way of escape.
“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God…”

Lord Jesus, we take heart because You have overcome the world and every storm we face. Give us peace no matter how severe the storm. In Your holy name we pray, amen.
