Sooner or later, we are all blinded, at least temporarily, by some unforeseen difficulty or personal tragedy. Thankfully, the Lord does not abandon us. Instead, He sends a friend, or friends, to guide us until we recover our sight. Through their presence, their encouraging words, and faithful prayers we are restored. At other times we are the guides for a friend who has stumbled or fallen.

Lord Jesus, you know how often I have been temporarily blinded. Thank You for the friends You have sent to help me find my way. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
