If you are struggling to discern the Lord’s will the first thing you must do is still your anxious thoughts and quiet your noisy heart. Stop struggling. You don’t have to twist God’s arm to get Him to reveal the plans He has for you. Simply be still before the Lord and wait patiently, and He will reveal His will. Don’t be in a hurry. God can’t be rushed. One final thought: You must walk in the light you have received before He will give you further direction.
