It not weakness that causes us to sin, but willfulness; yet, even in our sin we are tempted to rationalize rather than repent, but we must not succumb. Rationalization is deadly and must be avoided at all cost. It is a lie we tell ourselves and it leads to self-deception and self-deception leads to death. Only true repentance produces life.
