Devotional – One Minute Devotion

The Bible doesn’t cover anything up. If a man or woman of God succumbs to temptation and makes a mess of things the Bible tells it like it is. Then there’s Joseph. Under the very worst of circumstances—betrayal, slavery, false accusations and imprisonment—his character remained true. Joseph’s spiritual integrity, his Christ-likeness, demonstrates the holy work God can do in a person—any person—who is fully obedient. Well did Pharaoh say,

“Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God?”
— Genesis 42:38 (NIV)

Lord Jesus, do Your holy work in us and makes us fully obedient. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
