The second level of giving is “reasoned giving.” This is beyond the tithe and in the scriptures, it is called an offering. Let me give you an example. Once our daughter married, Brenda and I decided we would try to make do with just one car in order to give more to missions. It was inconvenient, especially for Brenda, but it freed up an amount of money equal to a car payment. We were then able to give that money to missions. Take a few minutes and see if there are some ways you can make reasoned giving a part of your life.
