Faithful obedience requires us step out even when we don’t know what the future holds. It is the ultimate act of trust—daring to believe that when we let go of the trapeze we are on, the Lord will be there to catch us, to take us to the next level. Timing is critical. If we are not moving in God’s timing the divine trapeze will not be in position to catch us. Right now, it feels like I’m on the ground looking up, waiting for the word to get on the trapeze again. The rest is good but something inside me longs for the excitement and the danger of faith’s high-flying act.
