Are you like the blind man who saw men as trees walking? I am. I seldom see things clearly. For instance, I know the Lord is near but I’m often blind to His glory. Desperately I pray, “Open my eyes Lord that I may see You in all of Your glory.” It seldom happens. Maybe what I need is not a miracle but a new way of “seeing;” a deliberate way of looking at things which makes God visible and being visible glorious.

Lord, help us not only to “look” but also to “see.” In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
