The four men with leprosy were realists (2 Kings 7:4). They knew how desperate their situation was. They had no mission statement, no action plan, just a stubborn will to live! As far as they were concerned the risk of death at the hands of the enemy was better than sitting there and doing nothing. At least they would go down swinging, they would die fighting.
I want to be one of those men who say, “Let me try and fail, if fail I must, but don’t let me sit here until I die!” What about you?
