In these difficult days you may be tempted to focus on the dangers around us but you dare not. Instead we must focus on God’s faithfulness, His provision, and His abiding presence. As we do we will gain confidence to face the future without fear. Philippians 4:7 declares the “…the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Lord Jesus, enable us to live with confidence and courage even as we acknowledge the troublesome times in which we live. Remind us that faith does not deny reality but it does transcend it. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
