When the enemy attacks, don’t allow yourself to focus on the giants that are coming against you no matter how fierce they may seem. Instead, focus on the mighty God you serve. Remember how He has delivered you in the past. That’s what David did. When King Saul questioned his ability to defeat the Philistine giant he replied, “GOD, who delivered me from the teeth of the lion and the claws of the bear, will deliver me from this Philistine” (1 Samuel 17:37 MSG).
Now trust the Lord to deliver you!

Jesus, remind us of all the ways you have delivered us in the past lest we allow today’s giants to intimidate us. Amen.
