Most of us are born with deep-seated self-doubts that are exacerbated by the emotional wounds we suffer while growing up. Consequently, we question our value as persons. We question our place in our family circle. We question our value to our spouse, to our friends, to our employer, to our church, and to our pastor. And most of all we question our value to God. As a result, we spend much of our life trying to prove our worth. Yet our significance cannot be based on what we do but only on the Word of the Father.
“…we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
— Hebrews 10:10 (NIV)
Lord Jesus help us to realize that You established our value when You died for us. Amen.
