Today I want to talk to you about moving from crisis mode to vision mode. In crisis mode survival is the focus. The first question is always, “How much will it cost?” followed closely by “How are we going to pay for it?” In vision mode developing effective ministries and future expansion are the focus. The first question is “What is the Lord directing us to do?” At some point how much it costs and how we are going to pay for it will have to be addressed but those concerns are of no consequence until the vision is clear. Hudson Taylor, founder of the China Inland Mission, declared, “God’s work done in God’s way will never lack for God’s supply.”
