Yesterday I told you that the church I was serving was robbed. Through that painful experience God taught us some valuable lessons. Even as we were negligent in securing the Church facilities, many of us were also negligent in guarding our spiritual life and that of our families. The things that were stolen from the church—three guitars, an apple computer and several flat screen TVs—were inconsequential in light of eternity, but if we allow the enemy to ravish our lives and our families the loss is incalculable. That’s why Jude says:
“I [had] to write insisting—begging!—that you fight with everything you have in you for this faith entrusted to us as a gift to guard and cherish.”

Lord Jesus motivate us to guard our spiritual lives and that of our families. Amen.
