When I consider all the inaccurate perditions regarding the coronavirus I am reminded of something Larry Osborne wrote. “Smart people make foolish decisions when they don’t have accurate facts…It forces them to rely on past experiences, hearsay, and assumptions.” He goes on to write, “‘The Wisdom of Solomon + Inaccurate Information = A Fool’s Decision.’ ”25
What about you? Are you basing your decisions on the best possible information, including the direction of the Holy Spirit and the promises of God, or are you relying on assumptions and negative experiences?
“ If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
— James 1:5 (NIV)
Lord Jesus, give us the wisdom to make wise decisions and the courage to follow through. In Your holy name we pray, amen.
