Many believers leave the doorway of relationships unguarded and the enemy slips in. In their naiveite they build friendships with people who will lead them astray never realizing the danger they are in. Before they know it, they are in over their heads. The wise man warns, “Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared” (Proverbs 22:24-25). He goes on to say, “A righteous man is cautious in friendship, but the ways of the wicked lead them astray” (Proverbs 12:26).

but whose delight is in the law of the LORD.”
Jesus help us to choose our friends carefully lest we be led astray. Amen.
