When your world is crumbling around you, run to the Father and throw yourself into His arms. Trust Him with your situation. Let Him hold you and comfort you. Meditate on what it means for Him to be your Father. Being a father myself I know the feelings a father has for his children. Whatever touches my daughter touches me. If I, a mere mortal, have these kinds of feelings for my daughter then I can only imagine how much more Father God cares about us, His children. The Psalmist said:
“As a father pities his children,
— Psalm 103:13 (NKJV)
So the Lord pities those who fear Him.”
Father God, be very near to us; nearer than the breath we breath and closer than life itself. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
