To know God’s name is not just to know His title or what to call Him. His name is a description of His character and His nature. Psalm 9:10 says, “They that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.” Let’s take a moment and consider what we know about God. We know He is faithful. We know He is loving. He is also merciful. He is compassionate and He is omnipotent, therefore we trust Him. Truly to know God is to trust Him.

Lord, help us to spend more time in the Word and in prayer that we may know You better and trust You more. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
