Faced with the choice of pleasing God or others we must be obedient to God. It will be hard, even painful at times, but it is the only hope for our salvation and the salvation of those we love. If Christ and His kingdom are not worthy of our absolute allegiance and our uncompromising obedience, how can we ever expect others to choose Him? Commitment, not compromise, is what brings those we love to God.
