Poor decision-making habits usually grow out of a poorly defined criteria for making decisions. I am convinced that by strengthening our understanding of how bold decisions are made we can enhance our leadership skills and become more effective leaders. Yesterday we focused on core values and today I want to focus on vision. Vision answers the question, “What am I trying to achieve?” or “What would success look like?” You must know where you are going before you can decide what you have to do to get there.
“Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
— Habakkuk 2:2 (KJV)
Lord, give us a clear vision so we will know what You have called us to do. Amen.
