These are confusing times. Daily we are flooded with disinformation. Conspiracy theories abound and who can trust the national news. So what are we to believe? What can we do? James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” A lifetime of experience leads me to believe He imparts His wisdom in three primary ways or some combination thereof. 1) Through the Scriptures. 2) Through the counsel of godly people. 3) Through the inner prompting of the Holy Spirit.

from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
Lord Jesus, we are facing situations that are simply beyond our understanding. We need Your wisdom and Your grace this day and every day. Grant it. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
