God has a purpose for each one of us, and that purpose is to remake us in the image of His own Son. Being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ is a process rather than an event. It requires our participation and involves both our obedience and the work of the Holy Spirit. There will be instantaneous events in the process, but being conformed to His image takes a lifetime. Thankfully Father God is both patient and persistent.

Father God, You are the Potter and I am the clay. I yield to Your craftsmanship. Conform me to the image of Your dear Son. In the name of Jesus I pray, amen.
