You cannot live in our sexually satiated society without experiencing sexual temptation therefore it is critical that we prepare for it. As I prayed and searched the Scriptures, I discovered some principles that will enable us to resist it. Principle #1: Heed Godly counsel. Principle #2: Make a covenant with your eyes. Principle #3: Guard your thought life. And principle #4: Count the cost.

Lord Jesus, I’m tempted to think it could never happen to me. Deliver me from my misguided thinking. Help me to walk circumspectly all the days of my life. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
