only if what your heart is telling you lines up with Scripture. The unregenerate heart is deceitful and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9) and it will lead you astray. However, when you are born again the Lord gives you a new heart upon which are written His laws. Hebrews 8:10 declares, “I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts…” When we are born again God changes our “want to”.
“Delight yourself in the Lord,

and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
Lord Jesus, write Your laws on our hearts and change our desires. Amen.
