In today’s culture lies are as common as the grains of sand on the seashore. Sometimes lying is called spin, or disinformation, or a false flag. Call it what you like God hates it! Proverbs 12:22 says, “Lying lips are (an) abomination to the LORD” (KJV) and Revelation 21:8 declares, “all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death” (NKJV).
Let me ask you a hard question: “Are you a liar?” Do you deal in half-truths? Do you use the “truth” to deceive? If you do confess your sins and receive His forgiveness.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Forgive us Lord, for we have lied. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Amen.
