My wife is battling uterine cancer and my emotions are all over the place, but my faith is rock solid! Of course, I am praying that she will be healed but thus far we have seen little or no improvement. Which brings me to this prayer:
“Lord
Divine healing can be so frustrating.
I mean where are the absolutes?
Why does something work one time
but not the next?
Why are some people healed,
seemingly sovereignly,
independent of their faith,
while others pray without receiving,
or exercise their faith,
but to no avail?
“My Son,
You can wrestle with these questions
and grow frustrated
or you can surrender them to me
and I will give you,
not the answers you seek,
but the trust you need.
“Thank you, Lord,
For enabling me to trust You
even when I don’t have all the answers.
Amen.”
