God loves us unconditionally, but that does not mean He winks at our disobedience or overlooks our sin. Hebrews 10 makes that clear: “If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment…” (Hebrews 10:26-27 NIV). If God’s unconditional love, expressed through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, cannot cause us to turn from our sins nothing will!

Lord Jesus, help me to embrace Your love and be embraced by it until every desire for sin is eradicated. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
