When King Saul questioned David’s ability to defeat Goliath he replied, “GOD, who delivered me from the teeth of the lion and the claws of the bear, will deliver me from this Philistine” (1 Samuel 17:37 MSG).
Is there a spiritual principle here for us? Absolutely! Don’t focus on the giants that are coming against you no matter how fierce they may be. Instead focus on the mighty God you serve. Remember how He has delivered you in the past. Now trust Him to do it again!

Lord Jesus, remind us of all the ways you have delivered us in the past lest we allow today’s giants to intimidate us. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
