The third law of sowing and reaping is: “You must sow before you can reap.” That goes without saying but how many of us want to reap a harvest before we are willing to sow? Our prayers go something like this, “Bless me Lord and I will bless others.” That’s just backwards to how God operates. He asks us to step out in faith, to bless others, trusting that He will return our generosity to us.
“God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done.”

Lord Jesus, increase our faith so we can sow generously expecting you to bless us in astonishing ways. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
