There are no new temptations; only the same old temptations wearing new disguises. Look beneath their distinctly modern veneers, and you will find the same three faces – a hunger for significance, the lure of materialism and power, and the temptation to use God rather than serve Him. These three temptations appeal to all of us at our most vulnerable points, and they represent Satan’s best chance to lead us astray.
