Her husband died, leaving her alone in the world without family or friends. In the ensuing months she grew more and more depressed. Finally on a Sunday afternoon she decided to end her life. At that very moment her doorbell started ringing. When she opened the front door a young boy smiled at her and said, “”Ma’am, I just want to tell you that Jesus really does love you.” With that, he handed her his last tract, and left. Turning on a lamp she sat down and carefully read the gospel track he had given her. As she did the love of Jesus washed over her and faith was born in her heart.

Lord Jesus, visit that desperate one who has lost all hope. Let Your love and grace wash over them birthing faith in their hearts. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
