Joseph could not have imagined that the path to the palace would include slavery, a false accusation of attempted rape, and a lengthy prison sentence but it did. As unbelievable as it may be these were the very events God used to prepare Joseph and bring him to the attention of Pharaoh who made him the second most powerful man in Egypt.

Lord Jesus, help us to trust Your wisdom when things seem to fall apart. Remind us that You see the big picture while we only see the little picture. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
