God does not love us because we are so loveable, for if the truth be told we are not all that loveable. In fact, the Apostle Paul indicts every last one of us when he writes: “There’ s nobody living right, not even one, nobody who knows the score, nobody alert for God. They’ve all taken the wrong turn; they’ve all wandered down blind alleys. No one’s living right; I can’t find a single one” (Romans 3:11-12 MSG).
Think about it. There’s none of us deserving of God’s love. Not one. Still, God loves us!

the Lord’s love is with those who fear him…”
Lord Jesus, we can do nothing to earn Your love. We are totally undeserving. Still, You love us. Thank you. Amen.
