Let me begin today’s devotion with a question. Why are Christians who believe in the sanctity of marriage divorcing at an alarming rate? Could it be that many believers have no idea what the Bible teaches about divorce. Consequently, they divorce for the most ridiculous reasons. They sight things like, I married too young. I married the wrong person. We’ve grown apart. I’m not the same person I was when I got married. We’re no longer in love. We’re just not compatible. I don’t feel fulfilled. Society may find those valid reasons for divorcing but the Lord does not!

Lord, help us make an unconditional commitment to our marriage. Amen.
