Have you ever considered the healing power of a touch? A woman suffering from the ravishes of cancer said, “The greatest gift was touching. Friends sat beside me as I lay exhausted on our couch. They touched my shoulder, held my hand, kissed my cheek, hugged me; their touch cushioned me. At the hospital they washed and curled my hair, gave me manicures, and set guard duties so I could rest. When I grew exhausted, they read my Bible to me and jotted my personal correspondence.”
