Spiritual leaders have several traits in common. They have a healthy self-image, and their leadership flows out of who they are in Christ. Their leadership is motivated by love. They have a genuine concern for others. They have a servant’s heart. They put the needs of the organization above their own. If you desire to be a spiritual leader, ask the Lord to develop these traits in your life. Consider the example of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, only You can make us into true spiritual leaders. Equip us, I pray, to be the leaders You have called us to be. In Your holy name. Amen.
