Prayer is not a duty; it’s a privilege. It’s not an obligation to be done grudgingly, the way a child goes to his chores, but an opportunity to fellowship with the Father. Prayer is what God and Adam shared in the Garden when they walked together in the cool of the day as friend with friend. Prayer is the joy of keeping company with God. Prayer is simply being with God!
