When you think of surrendering your life and future to the Lord Jesus Christ how does that make you feel? Excited? Afraid? Thrilled? If it makes you feel afraid ask yourself what you are afraid of. Are you afraid He may ask you to do something you are not qualified to do? Not to worry. He doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called. Are you afraid He will send you somewhere you don’t want to go, ask you to do something you don’t want to do?

Lord Jesus, we are only afraid when we trust ourselves rather than trusting You. Help us to trust You more. Amen.
