When David Wilkerson went to New York City in 1958 to launch what would become Teen Challenge—an international ministry with drug-rehabilitation centers around the world—he was a country preacher with hardly more than gas money in his pocket. The fact that he never allowed his resources to determine his destiny was a major factor in his success. When God spoke to his heart he stepped out in obedience, believing that the needed resources would follow. All of us have limited resources. If we focus on our resources we will limit our vision, but if we focus on God’s unlimited sufficiency, we are free to believe God for the impossible!
