I praise the Lord for my health! I can take no credit for my good health. It is a gift from God, unearned and undeserved, but one for which I am especially thankful. I’ve lived long enough to know that the condition of my health could change tomorrow. What will I do if I am suddenly stricken with a serious or even life-threatening illness? Only God knows, but I have purposed in my heart to praise the Lord for the promise of healing (see Psalm 103:1–3, Isaiah 53:5, and James 5:14–15).

He forgives all my sins
and heals all my diseases.”
Lord Jesus, above all else I ask You to give me a thankful heart that I might praise you all the days of my life. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
