Life must always be a balance between vision and relationship. Vision enlarges us. Relationships refresh and nurture us. Vision focuses on what we can do for God. Relationship focuses on being with God. Vision without relationships risks becoming unholy ambition. Relationship without vision risks becoming narcissistic. To live the abundant life requires us to embrace both vision and relationship.

Lord Jesus, You have not only called us to be with You but to also go and share Your love with our broken world. Help us to know when to come and when to go. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
