Life’s difficulties can drive us to God or away from Him. If we fight our pain, our loneliness, we often end up fighting God. But if we can make peace with our pain, it can become an instrument that God uses to draw us to Himself. God can use it to sensitize us to the pain and suffering of others. Maybe you’re struggling with feelings of failure and disappoint right now. If you are, ask the Lord to help you see beyond your situation, to see others who are hurting and in need of a kind word or a helping hand. Help others and you may be assured the Lord will help you.
