If you want the Lord to speak to you, spending time with Him is the key. Open the Scriptures and linger over them in His presence. As you wait before Him let the Word speak to you. Let it strengthen and encourage you. For instance Psalm 121:7 and 8 says, “The LORD will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore.” Take heart, that’s His word to you!

Lord Jesus, help us to treasure Your Word. Help us to hide it in our hearts and meditate on it at all times. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
