The security of our salvation does not rest in what we do for Jesus, but in what He has done for us. He was made to be sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). He became the Son of Man that we might become the sons of God. He bore the shame of the cross so that we need not bear the shame of our sin. He died that we might live!

β€œTo him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy – to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

— Jude 24-25

Lord Jesus, I have no confidence in the flesh. Left to my own efforts I will surely fail. You are my only security. I trust only in Your finished work. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
